Cashman Equipment Expands Snow Removal Line with R.P.M. Products

Friday, October 22, 2010 (Las Vegas, Nevada) Cashman Equipment is pleased to announce the formation of a business partnership with R.P.M. Tech. Cashman is the exclusive dealer and distributor in Nevada and parts of eastern California for the Montreal-based company specializing in industrial snow removal equipment.

This new partnership allows Cashman to offer a comprehensive lineup of snow removal products, from Cat skid steer and wheel loaders with snow blower attachments to R.P.M. Tech’s powerful 140hp Cameleon utility vehicle. With interchangeable tracks and wheels, as well as an array of attachments, the Cameleon is a versatile addition that provides 20% more hydraulic power than its closest competitor. Customers will also find that Cashman now has mounted industrial snow blowers for loaders and tractors providing a snow removal capacity ranging from 1,600 to 5,000 tons of snow per hour. The self-propelled snow blower rounds out Cashman’s new offerings, providing a snow clearing capacity ranging from 3,000 to 7,000 tons of snow per hour.

Cashman Equipment researched several different industrial snow blower manufacturers before selecting R.P.M. Tech. According to Jim Sands, Cashman’s Reno Sales Manager, the company was looking for two things – versatile products and a line to compliment Cat products. R.P.M. Tech satisfied both requirements, adding more than 25 new snow removal options for customers, many of which are powered by Caterpillar-owned Perkins engines. “We believe this partnership and our dedicated parts, service, and product support reps will enable us to offer our customers a truly comprehensive snow removal solution, said Sands. “It’s a good fit, and we’re excited to make this move into the industrial snow removal market.
