Sustainable Impact Spotlight Award for Cashman Equipment

Friday, April 15, 2011­­ (Las Vegas, Nevada) More than 400 attendees were present at the 14th Annual NAIOP Spotlight Awards, held at the M Resort, Spa & Casino Las Vegas. The exceptional commercial real estate projects and professionals of the prior year were recognized at this event. Cashman Equipment received the 2011 Sustainable Impact Award for their Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) corporate headquarters on St. Rose Parkway in Henderson, NV.

Constructed by Burke Construction Group and designed by SH Architecture, this 308,000 sq. ft. campus-style industrial complex was also the winner of the 2009 Southwest Contractor Best Green Building Award, as well as the NAIOP Spotlight awards in 2009 for Special Purpose Industrial Buildings and for Office Interiors: Public Spaces. The facility features seven separate buildings spread out over 53 acres, housing administrative offices, equipment rental, sales operations, repair facilities, and warehousing. This unique complex was built using proven LEED strategies as well as cutting-edge construction techniques. To date, this project is the largest office/industrial LEED Gold certified project in the state of Nevada.
