Education Reimbursement

Cashman's Educational Assistance Program

Educational assistance is offered to help employees improve their capabilities, skills and technical knowledge relating to their current position. Also considered are programs designed to enhance the employee’s ability to assume greater responsibility or aid employees in making a transition into new skills or technologies within our Company.

After twelve (12) months of full-time employment with us, employees are eligible for reimbursement of tuition and book fees after satisfactory completion (C or above) of a job related course. All requests under the educational assistance program must be submitted on an “Application for Educational Assistance Form”. This form needs to be forwarded to department management for approval prior to the start of class.

To receive payment, employee must provide a copy of class grade to immediate supervisor and complete a “Company Reimbursed Education/Training Program” form. The maximum reimbursement allowable under the educational assistance plan will not exceed the per credit hour cost of the University and Community College System of Nevada.

If an employee terminates employment for any reason prior to twelve (12) months after completion of training, they will be required to reimburse the Company for all expenses paid by the Company related to the training.
